This Plan and Spec project was awarded to us by the Town of Waterford. The scope included removal of a decommissioned unit and replacement of this 12.5-ton York RTU.
Design Build project for the University of Bridgeport. The school converted 4 racquetball courts into an exercise gym and spin room. We installed a 14-ton Mitsubishi City Multi Heat pump system with cassette indoor units serving the exercise rooms, hallway, and offices. This project qualified for a $39,990 rebate through EnergizeCT.
Design Build project for the University of Bridgeport. The school converted old dormitories into offices for the School of Nursing. We removed existing radiant convectors and tied into the hot and chilled water systems to install 5 new MagicAire units and a Fantech ERV system for fresh air. This project also involved running new 2” chilled water mains to service the new units.
Design Build project for the University of Bridgeport. The school converted the former print shop into a welding school. We installed 3) Trane RTU’s, ductwork, provided the steel and roofing contractors, and also installed a RoboVent particulate filter system with 16 stations and a hood for the plasma table. In addition to this we installed all of the compressed air and welding gas piping.
Design Build project – we installed a Mitsubishi computer room a/c unit to cool UB’s new AI supercomputer. These units have built in humidifiers and electric heat for precise temperature and humidity control in highly sensitive environments.
Design Build project we were awarded by the Town of Seymour. We installed a 14-Ton Mitsubishi City Multi system with a cassette indoor for the hallway and 4) concealed ducted air handlers serving various town offices.
Plan and Spec project we were awarded by the Milford BOE. This project involved the replacement of 4 RTU’s. We submitted a design change to relocate and install the proper curb for the 15-ton unit in lieu of a curb adapter, which was accepted.
Plan and Spec replacement of a cooling tower and 3 water source heat pumps awarded to us by the Town of Groton. Blizzard mechanical was Prime Contractor on this project and facilitated all of the electrical, welding, rigging, and insulating.
Design Build project – we installed a Trane dual fuel heat pump RTU for Elm City Trailer’s new showroom. This project included ductwork, gas piping, roofing, and steel work.
New construction 92-unit apartment building. We installed Mitsubishi high efficiency ducted heat pumps in all of the apartments, and ductless units in the common areas. We also installed the dryer vents and bath fan piping.
We removed a 50+ year old water cooled air conditioner and installed a high efficiency Mitsubishi Heat Pump system for heating and cooling.
